The Schnipke’s are one of my favorite families I have the opportunity to take pictures of every summer. Over the years, it has been such a pleasure to get to know Beth & Adam and their three children Quinton, Gretta, and Henry.
Quinton has always been the responsible big brother. He takes good care of his little sister and little brother. When we did Quinton’s little brother Henry’s soccer pictures, Quinton was quick to show his brother how to pose for them. Wise, smart, and athletic, I never get tired of snapping off a few pictures of him (even though the session was planned for the two younger one’s birthdays and family photos).
Gretta has always been a princess who loves soccer but also can catch her twirling about. To catch a real smile from her, you better get her to giggle about something, otherwise she will force a cheesy one or give you a completely goofy face. Over the last year, Gretta has grown up so much and come fall she will be headed off to kindergarten.
I think Beth doesn’t mind girl time with Gretta from time to time however.
I just can’t get over that Henry is 3 years old. Although he looks so much like his older brother, he has a little orneriness of his sister. His smile and charm are so captivating, he has nearly everyone he knows wrapped around his little finger.
When you put these three kids together, you get some of the funnest images. I am never disappointed in my session with the Schnipkes!
After getting two positive test results for Cystic Fibrosis, this little lady and her mommy got some good news the other day. On Thursday she went to see specialist in Toledo, to do further testing. And the doctors found she is a healthy baby girl who DOES NOT have CF.
Her and her mommy are living in the Findlay, Ohio area and will be spending the next several decades living happily ever after.
Chad proposed to Courtney in 2015 at a Tiger’s game in Detroit. Of course she said yes! The two started right away making plans for their April 2016 wedding. From the dress, to the venue, to the colors, Courtney had a wedding fit for a queen.
The two Kalida graduates were married at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church. Of course Father Mark presented a gift to Chad (like he does with so many of the weddings he performs). Chad, being a former baseball player was presented with a ball and mitt. And then Father spent the next few moments comparing marriage to the gift Chad received.
After the ceremony, the two spent some time visiting some establishments in Putnam County before arriving at the Kalida K of C Hall for their reception. The entire day a smile never left Courtney’s face. She had found her prince and anyone looking at her knew she was very much in love.
Model Lucilla Elena and I had a plan. The plan was to play in the fountain at Faurot Park until dark, but the fountain had an automatic turn off soon after we arrived. So we made due with the an area the water pooled and created these beautiful images. Next time we will go earlier!
My dear friend Janelle introduced me to Jen and her family. And I am so blessed to say she and her family have become dear people in my life. My first time meeting Jen, I did a lifestyle session with her daughter Allie. And then I had the privileged to join her entire family following the birth of her son Gunnar for a Birth Story at St Ritas Medical Center. And on Sunday, I was once again got to capture these beautiful people during a Family Lifestyle session at Kendrick Woods Park. If it hadn’t gotten dark, we may have stayed even longer playing!
